Can we let this be so ?

With nearly 30 years of experience in hospitality industry, and less
than 6 months in the field of INTERNET MARKETING, I began
to wonder why Indian DESTINATIONS do not figure prominently on the Internet
or the Indian Travel Agents' offerings are so inaccessible.

The reason was not 'very complicated'; as a matter of fact, it was
so simple that it is AN ABSOLUTE SHOCKER !

Almost a total neglect of INTERNET ADVERTISING - whether
due to ignorance or because of some misplaced reluctance (?) - has
led to this sorry state of affairs.

Nearly 7 years into the 21st century, the American & European
tourists are still opting for tiny countries like Malaysia, Singapore
& Thailand etc. instead of coming over to India.
Incredible, no doubt !!
